Abstract:
An electronic switched-beam steering antenna system based on multiport grid array antenna (GAA) is demonstrated at Ka-band of 28 GHz. The proposed GAA antenna system consists of a nine-port GAA and a switching network board. The nine beams can be steered electronically in different directions with a coverage of ±20 with antenna gain greater than 14 dBi at 28GHz.
