Abstract:
This paper reports recent development of a WR-6 (110 GHz - 170 GHz) rectangular waveguide microcalorimeter in China. This WR-6 microcalorimeter works as a national primary power measurement system, together with a newly designed and fabricated thermoelectric power sensor which is the transfer power standard. In this study, structure design of thermoelectric power sensor will be described, and preliminary measurement results for uncorrected effective efficiency of the power sensor using this WR-6 microcalorimeter will be reported.
