Abstract:
Hysteresis Loop has been investigated for continuous media by using the energy minimization approach. The domain wall energy is included into the total free energy which is being minimized directly to achieve the equilibrium status of the discretized continuous media. The effects of exchange coupling constant on the hysteresis loop also get studied. It is carried out to make a comparison among the micromagnetic approaches based on the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation and the total free energy equations with and without domain wall energy.
